Dress the Pirie's

Didn't  see this challenge early enough, but in any case it can still be an idea for next years halloween

I think Morticia and Gomez Addams and for the little one Pubert would be a good choice as a  family costume

And with a remake being planned, it would be not nessecary mean to go for the looks of the brilliant versions from 1991 & 1993 The Addams Family / Values, even though they are fantastic.

Makeup Favorite

I've got not just one favorite ...

It changes all the time. But I love the Bodyshop Natrulift range

It's amazing and really really good, not just that it smells fantastic it also leaves your skin nice and soft and moisturised and even reduces signs of wrinkles.

Halloween Grease Paint

Ruth was very nice and let me try out a pumpkin face

Wigs in Plays

At the moment Starlight Express is in Edinburgh, I so want to see it again and I really hope it was worth the wait. Last time I saw it was in 2002 i think in Germany and it was absolutely amazing.

The makeup is great and very individual for each  character , so are the wigs.

Like in most musicals the actors learn to do their most of their own make up and just get help with tiny things, touch ups, wigs and costumes.

The Magic Flute will be played in Glasgow this month. A fantastic piece if arranged right for young and old.
Wigs, different make up and costumes always change with the arrangement of this lovely piece of classical music.

One of my favorite films and one of the makeups that I really would love to do is Captain Jack Sparrow. Johnny Depp requested Ve Neill as the MuA, the studios instead made her head of department.

Another great film with good effects and fantastic make up is Merlin.
I love both caracters played by Miranda Richardson Queen Mab and the Lady of the Lake. These two are so different in makeup and everything about them.

Something completly different and not a film, but from the Series Stargate are the Nox.
I love everything about them, they are just too adorable.

Next the Tim Burton adaption of Alice in Wonderland. I can't even decide which makeup I like best because each one has a different twist to it.

And last but not least is one of my all time favorites Edward Scissorhands.  I simply love this film
